Agree the substrate, insulation depth, junction details, protective finish, access and work programme. Identify any repairs or exclusions in the quotation.
During installation
Use the agreed site controls and application specification. Record the products used, treated areas and relevant installation checks.
At handover
Confirm the installed build-up, product and workmanship terms, maintenance requirements and records for the building owner. Documentation does not guarantee third-party acceptance.

Commercial spray foam questions
What is the difference between internal insulation and external roofing foam?
Internal insulation is applied from within the building to suitable surfaces. External roofing foam is part of a weather-facing roof system with a specified waterproofing and UV-protective finish. Product selection and detailing differ.
Which buildings do you work on?
Commercial, industrial and agricultural buildings, including warehouses, containers, farm buildings, concrete soffits and suitable asbestos-cement roofs. Each application needs a condition and suitability assessment.
What information helps you quote?
Send the postcode, building use, approximate dimensions, roof or substrate material and photographs taken safely. Explain the problem, any known leaks or defects, access restrictions and your preferred programme.
Will spray foam stop roof leaks?
Underside insulation is not an external waterproofing system. Condensation, rainwater ingress and structural defects need to be distinguished before a treatment is specified.
Can spray foam encapsulate asbestos?
Interior or exterior encapsulation may be suitable for assessed asbestos-cement roofs. The material remains in place and needs ongoing management. Its condition and the proposed work determine the appropriate method and controls.
What warranty is provided?
Ask for the terms applicable to the specified product and complete system. Product cover and workmanship cover address different aspects and should be identified in the quotation and handover.
