Quonset-style structures can have corrugated curved roofs and walls with relatively few flat surfaces. Spray-applied insulation can follow an assessed profile, but it must still be specified around the condition of the steel, joints, supports and openings.
The brief should distinguish an unheated store from a workshop or conversion intended for regular occupation. Air movement through doors, internal moisture and the selected lining all influence performance. No insulation method should be presented as the only possible route for every arch building.

Is a Quonset hut specification identical to a Nissen hut?
The buildings can share curved-roof characteristics, but construction, condition and use vary. Each needs its own assessment and scope.
Can foam replace repairs to corroded steel?
No. Corrosion, damaged coatings, leaks and structural issues need assessment before insulation. A new layer should not conceal unresolved defects.
