Will insulation keep grain dry on its own?
No. Stored-product moisture and the storage system’s ventilation, drying and operating regime remain essential. Set the storage brief before choosing an envelope treatment.
Can foam be left exposed inside a silo?
The intended contact, cleaning, fire and durability requirements need assessment. A suitable lining or other finish may be required; do not assume every foam is appropriate as an exposed storage surface.
What affects the cost of grain silo & store insulation?
The treated area, substrate condition, specified thickness, preparation, access equipment and finish all influence the price. Include the work programme and any removal or reinstatement in the enquiry so quotations cover the same scope.
