What a Dover spray foam installation involves

What we check before quoting

We start with what the roof is made of and what condition it is in — corrugated fibre-cement, profiled steel, concrete or timber each need their own preparation. Existing leaks are identified first, because spraying the underside of a roof does not make it watertight; rainwater ingress, condensation and structural defects have to be told apart before a treatment is chosen. Internal humidity and building use are recorded too, since they drive condensation as much as the roof does. On asbestos-cement sheeting, encapsulation may be an option — the material remains in place and still needs managing.

The system we specify

Closed-cell Nexseal LE covers most commercial buildings we insulate in the South East. Sprayed in place it self-bonds to the substrate and keeps the inner surface above dew point, which is what ends the drip and the corrosion that follows it; it also carries a 25-year manufacturer-backed product warranty. How the installation runs

Work is phased around your operation. Areas are sheeted and protected, services and rooflights masked, and the foam applied in controlled passes to the specified thickness, with coverage checked before the protection comes down.
