Specialist concrete soffit insulation for commercial, industrial and agricultural buildings in Wigan and across the North West — installed by ThermoFoam, part of the Duratite Group.

Exposed concrete soffits — car-park decks, podium slabs, undercrofts — are one of Wigan's biggest hidden heat losses: the floors above them sit on a cold, uninsulated slab. Spray foam applied overhead bonds directly to the concrete in one continuous layer, with no fixings, rails or joints to cold-bridge.
Depths of 25–100 mm are specified to hit the target U-value, and where a fire-rated finish is required the system is completed with DC315 intumescent coating for Euroclass B-s2,d0 — the build-up commonly specified for car parks beneath occupied buildings.

Yes — work is phased bay by bay with traffic management, keeping the car park in use throughout.
Boards need thousands of fixings — each one a cold bridge — and leave joints. Sprayed foam is continuous, jointless and far faster overhead.
